About Me

I have always been drawn to creative activities. Early on I took pottery classes, painting classes and worked with my Dad in his workshop teaching me the basics of carpentry. This was even before I decided to build a career with my skills. My educational journey at Penn State lead me to scenic design where I learned how to apply my talents to the entertainment industry. I learned how to draft, paint faux textures and backdrops, carve foam, and enhance my carpentry skills.

My professional career began with many internships. My Disney College Programs in 2010 and 2011 taught me about life in Florida and Disney. My Internship at Walt Disney Imagineering in the Props Department introduced me to an inspirational creative team who taught me the Disney quality standards. Being an Entertainment Technician intern, I learned the difference between theater and theme park props, this is when I took my first full time position at Disney. This role pushed me to interact with new people and teach myself new skills and techniques.

I continually want to learn new skills, so I applied to be one of the first of many Cast Members who are participating in the Disney Aspire Program. In my graphic design classes I learned Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. I hope to continue to learn new programs as I progress.

As the Technical Theatre Manager at Windermere Preparatory School, I oversee the design, construction, and execution of all scenic and technical elements that bring our productions to life. From drafting and building sets to coordinating lighting, sound, and backstage operations, I work closely with students and faculty to transform creative vision into reality. My focus is not only on producing high-quality theatrical experiences, but also on mentoring students in real-world technical skills, teaching them collaboration, problem-solving, craftsmanship, and professional production practices. Through hands-on learning and a culture of precision and creativity, I help students build both exceptional shows and the confidence to lead behind the scenes.

Moving forward, I intend to advance my knowledge of the industry and my skills to allow me to provide a quality product. Please explore this portfolio to see a selection of projects from a variety of work I took pride in.
