About Me

I have always been drawn to creative activities. Early on I took pottery classes, painting classes and worked with my Dad in his workshop teaching me the basics of carpentry. This was even before I decided to build a career with my skills. My educational journey at Penn State lead me to scenic design where I learned how to apply my talents to the entertainment industry. I learned how to draft, paint faux textures and backdrops, carve foam, and enhance my carpentry skills.

My professional career began with many internships. My Disney College Programs in 2010 and 2011 taught me about life in Florida and Disney. My Internship at Walt Disney Imagineering in the Props Department introduced me to an inspirational creative team who taught me the Disney quality standards. Being an Entertainment Technician intern, I learned the difference between theater and theme park props, this is when I took my first full time position at Disney. My current role pushes me to interact with new people and teach myself new skills and techniques.

I continually want to learn new skills, so I applied to be one of the first of many Cast Members who are participating in the Disney Aspire Program. In my graphic design classes I learned Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. I hope to continue to learn new programs as I progress.

Moving forward, I intend to advance my knowledge of the industry and my skills to allow me to provide a quality product. Please explore this portfolio to see a selection of projects from a variety of work I took pride in.
